Having been exposed to the art scene as a student, Sherizze Sean Acot has indulged in events management, theatre and film acting as well as its production and has been writing artist's statements in an art gallery in the Philippines. Armed with journalistic skills, she has been a freelance news and features writer and editor also in university publications and local newspapers.
Her advocacies are: Down Syndrome Awareness and Education Campaign" and has established a School Learning Resource Room in the Bacolod Special Education Center in cooperation with the local government unit, various private sectors and individuals benefitting around 60 students with Down Syndrome.
